Like any other Sales Job, we are commonly seen as a Salesman or Saleswoman. Real Estate Salesperson is often seen as a highly paid job, always seen formally dressed with flashy apparels, cars and property. For some, we might be seen negatively.
On the side note, what if I told you they might just be the cover of the book with countless of chapters in order to be a successful one. It requires lots of hard work, commitment and strong mentality especially when you starting your career as a Salesperson. As we know, Real Estate Salesperson earns through the huge commission of their services and sales. But what others may not see are the huge cost involved to keep the business floating, ie. Marketing, Licences and etc.
So let's get straight to the point...
What are the requirements and criteria to be one?

You must also meet the other criteria set by the Singapore Council For Estate Agencies (CEA).
You will need to pass the Real Estate Salesperson examination to apply to be one. Courses and exams can be taken from various providers. For more information, you may visit CEA website Singapore.
For those who have a Diploma or Degree in Real Estate Business, you may be exempted from the examinations.
What is I do not have a minimum GCE 'O' Level?
You may submit a Level 5 and above Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) assessment in these 5 components (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Numeracy). WPLN can be taken at a few provider such as British Council.
